Pine Island sound is tucked between the beautiful barrier islands of Sanibel, Captiva, and Pine island. Often when we are fishing the sound, we are chasing redfish, snook, and tarpon. What is particularly unique to this area is the amount of lush turtle grass. This habitat provides great feeding grounds for redfish. In particular this environment can lead to great tailing redfish scenarios when the tides are low.
